Other designated driver services operate in a similar manner, but require a membership fee. Last Call Drivers, for example, has a membership rate starting at $49 per month for an unlimited number of rides. The company provides services to anybody within Maricopa County. Last Call says on their website that they offer a special Restaurant/Bar membership for just $249 a month, which provides unlimited pick-ups from a particular establishment. To purchase a membership, businesses and individuals can call 602-606-7560.
Businesses like Last Call Drivers and Designated Drivers Inc. have the potential to save lives just by offering a ride. And don't forget that intoxicated individuals can always call a cab to get a safe car ride home and avoid that DUI charge.
